Will ATIO certified translation be accepted for my Ontario G1/G2/G license application?

Yes, as ATIO certified translators, our signatures and stamps are officially recognized by the MTO and Service Ontario for all driver’s license exchanges and applications.

Traditionally, DriveTest and Service Ontario require wet-ink hard copy translation. Since e-stamp came into effect in November 2025, we have been receiving feedbacks from clients that more and more DriveTest branches are accepting printouts of e-stamp PDFs. So far, many branches in GTA area, London, Windsor, and Niagara regions have successful cases of using e-stamp printouts, which can be verified on verify.atio.on.ca by scanning the QR code at the bottom of the page. Each translation document will have its own verification code. Authorities can enter the verification code to see the translation document and translator’s information.
